Heres the story
Night fell and Sarabi came into laybour with the cub of Kito, a rouge male. Zira, the dominent female already had 3 cubs, Nuka, the oldest, Kovu and Vitani. Just after sarabi gave birth, she decided to snatch the baby, which was a girl. Unluckily for sarabi, no other lionesses were around because they were all out hunting, and as she had just given birth she was worn out and not fit to fight Zira so she had to just sit there and let Zira take the baby, which Zira soon named Sakuri.
In this picture vitani had just been born aswell only she was born 30 minuets earlier, this explains why Zira was able to snatch the baby. Cause she had had time to rest.
